Michael and Evadne live in a 3 bedroom home, with driveway and a garden. The couple have two children, a son who lives in Cambridge and a daughter in Norfolk.
Michael and Evadne would like you to be apart of the family and feel comfortable. Michael is keen that the home is welcoming and allows you to spend time in areas of the home which are relaxed, rather than being with him and Evadne continuously. Michael and Evadne have not had live in care before but feel ready for this next step as Evadne has been diagnosed with Parkinsons and has had a recent fall. Evadne can mobilise but requires the use of her frame and some reassurance. Evadne does need reminding to use her frame and requires assistance with all her personal care and lots of encouragement to complete her physio exercises. There are times throughout the day where the couple would like their CAREGiver to help in maintaining the home with light house work including hoovering, dusting, washing up. The couple would also like companionship to build a relationship with their Live in CAREGiver and be able to go for a walk and sit in the garden together.
The couple would like their CAREGiver to help with all meal preparation and cooking then to eat together and share in a meal.
