Become a Dementia Friend

Dementia Friends is a joint initiative between Public Health England and the Alzheimer’s Society that aims to give more people an understanding of Dementia and the small things that could make a difference to people living in their community.

As part of the Prime Minister’s challenge on Dementia, Dementia Friends has a target of one million people by 2015 with the know-how to help people with dementia feel understood and included in their community.

Karina Brown, Director of Home Instead Senior Care Bromley, Chislehurst and Orpington, has been trained as a Dementia Friends Champion and is delivering free Dementia Friends talks to local community groups across the area. If you would like to become a Dementia Friend then please contact us on 020 8658 2535.
