Home Instead Senior Care Wrexham & Flintshire East

Letting someone provide care for you can be a very personal experience. It is important to us to ensure the care we deliver throughout Wrexham and Flintshire is consistently reliable, trustworthy and of the highest quality possible.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID19 outbreak we only currently have limited capacity for new clients in the Wrexham areas,

We currently have capacity for new clients in Flintshire areas of Buckley, Myndd Isa,Hawarden, Mold, Northop, Mancot and Broughton

During these are difficult times we must ensure our clients and caregivers are safe whilst delivering continued care, if you have a relative in hospital and are looking for a new package of care, we are asking that all patients have a COVID19 test completed before discharge and before care can commence.

The key words we deliver on are

Continuity of CAREGiver

Longer Care Visits

No CAREGiver Uniform

Fully Trained & Monitored CAREGivers

Specialist in Dementia Support

A Tailored Service

Family Portal

We recognise that some elderly clients will have similar needs but at the same time we
respect each persons individual needs and requirements for support in the home.

We ensure to engage with the client and their families to discuss the support that an older
person requires to stay independent at home with support.

We understand that families can't always be there, but we can.

One of the questions we are often asked is whether we provide care in a certain area, so here are some of the main areas covered:

Wrexham includes Wrexham town centre and central areas of Borras, Acton, Hightown. Surrounding areas including Gresford, Marford, Rossett, Holt, Brymbo, Coedpoeth, Llay, Rhostyllen, Gwersyllt.

South Wrexham includes Johnstown, Rhos, Ruabon, Llangollen, Bangor on Dee and Overton.

Areas covered in Flintshire include Mold, Buckley, Hope, Leeswood, Penyffordd, Mynydd Isa, Hawarden, Ewloe, Northop,
Northop Hall, Connah's Quay, Broughton,

Home Instead Senior Care are regulated and inspected by Care Inspectorate Wales.

NEW FOR 2020: Family Portal

We launched the Family Portal in January 2020, as a new, modern way that families can monitor and stay in closer contact of their loved ones care services.  The digital service has replaced the old paper activity logs and medication administration records, which would normally have been written down and stored in the home.

We know that families can not always make visits to their relatives as often as they would like due to work, family, health or simply distance.  Families can now access instant information about the care services that have been provided, including which household tasks have been completed, medication support, personal care assistance and which/how many meals and hydration have been prepared and served.

These daily logs are viewable through the family portal as soon as the visit has been completed, from any digital device* so no matter where you are in the world you'll have peace of mind that your loved ones care is being provided to the highest standard.

    How to age well

Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.
