Your health is important to us!

At the last CAREGiver meeting, we offered running groups and smoking cessation sessions. We are really pleased to say that 3 people have begun running and Mary Jordan is about to run her first 10k race on May 5th in Liverpool, anyone who would like to come and cheer Mary in as she finishes her race would be most welcome.

The uptake of the smoking cessation course was very low and so sadly the numbers are too small for us to be able to arrange sessions at the office, however, if you would like to give up smoking, please do see your practice nurse. The practice Nurse will be able to offer you useful tips on quitting and also arrange for prescriptions of either Champix or Nicotine Replacement Therapy. Just remember, it's never too late to stop and one of our new runners, Pauline Haden, has quit for more than 12 months now. Well done Pauline.
