Catharine Chalton joins Home Instead International Advisory Committee for End of Life Care at home.

In December 2013, I was invited to join the International Advisory Committee for End of Life Care at home. It is a privilege to be asked, as I am very proud to share our experiences around outstanding End of Life Care on the Wirral. We have been providing specialised care for several years through our Rapid Response Team, liaising with the local Primary and Secondary Health Care Teams and the local Hospice. In addition, Mike and I sit on the Wirral NHS QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention Committee) for End of Life care.

One of the aims of the International Advisory Committee is to exchange ideas and best practice from across the globe which will be shared with our CAREGivers in order to enhance and improve End of Life Care for all of those people who use our services.
