The team at Home Instead Senior Care in Wimbledon and Kingston has been named a finalist at the 2012 Independent Specialist Care Awards.
Clare Jefferies, who owns Home Instead in Wimbledon and Kingston along with Care Manager, Julie Lee were present at the glittering gala dinner last Friday (15th March) and were named as runners up in the Homecare category. The event was held at the London Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square and hosted by comedian and entertainer, Ruby Wax.
The Home Care award is given to the individual or team which shows excellence in delivering high quality, responsive, reliable and personalised home care services to adults with learning or physical disabilities or mental health problems including dementia; at a cost which is acceptable to the customer.
Clare and her team were nominated by the President of the United Kingdom Homecare Association Lucianne Sawyer, who recognised that quality responsiveness and reliability are the first priority for Clare and the Wimbledon and Kingston team!
Clare commented, "I am thrilled that we made it to the finals for this prestigious award, especially in such a competitive category. I am also delighted to be recognised by Lucianne for our services. We had a fantastic evening and are thrilled to have made it so far. I would like to say a huge thank you to my team for their unwavering hard work and dedication to providing the highest-quality of care. They really deserve this recognition and I am extremely proud of all of them!”
Although the Wimbledon and Kingston office were runners up - the prestigeous award was won by a Home Instead Office! The Barnet office who are one of the longest running offices were worthy winners with their care team being recognised for their outstanding care provision. Well done Barnet - we salute you !
