It's all about the training!

Celebrating with NVQ2 graduades

It never stops here at Wimbledon & Kingston. It's all about the training - we ensure that our CAREGivers have all the training they can to provide the best care at home as possible.

Many of our CAREGivers embark on an National Vocational Qualification in Health and Social Care. Through the government funded scheme, we have recently celebrated another batch of successful graduates, who have worked hard and gain their Level 2 qualification. We have another group hard at work and are about to congratulate three who have recently finished their Level 3.

If that was not enough, our unique world class City and Guild's accredited Alzheimer's and Dementia training has seen handfuls of staff learn more about the different types of dementia, how they are diagnosed, as well as learning how to manage behaviours that are associated with the various stages of the disease.

September is looking busy with Moving and Handling courses, Visual Impairment training and Parkinson's training.
