Home Instead offer the gift of time on Christmas Day!

Never would an opportunity to help the community be turned down at Home Instead Wimbledon and Kingston.

For a second year running, when approached by St James's Church in New Malden to help provide care and support at their Christmas Day lunch, we were delighted to offer our services and donate our time - how could we refuse.

St James's Church hosted lunch for 57 older people in their church hall and a great time was had by all. Local lady, Louise Musgrove, CAREGiver with Home Instead, was delighted to give up her Christmas Day to help at this fantastic event, assisting guests during the day.

Louise provided much needed help to some, enabling everyone to enjoy the lunch, which included a visit from the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor a Penny Shelton, the Queens speech, a sing-a-long and lastly a gift for everyone donated by a local school. A lovely Christmas for many New Malden folk who might otherwise be alone.

Well done and thank you Louise.
