the loveliest person award winner!

Today we recognised an amazing person who has no idea how wonderful she is......Alice Machesheshe. Alice works at the Wimbledon Guild and does so much for some many older people in Wimbledon. She was nominated in the Carers Category of the Merton Civic Awards,  that Home Instead has sponsored. Alice was shortlisted as a finalist but asked not to go through as she felt that the work she does is very much part of a team and she would feel uncomfortable being recognised individually. We, here at Home Instead, felt that she should be recognised anyway,  as she would have been a worthy winner. So we  presented her with our own very special award, the Loveliest Person Award! Well done Alice.
