My name is Leena Lakhani and I have lived in our local area with my young family for a number of years, I therefore have good knowledge of the local area and the many cultural communities within it. Together with Fran Edwards, my very experienced Registered Care Manager, we are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support for all our clients and their families. We believe a local business with a friendly face and community knowledge, lends itself to understanding and delivering high quality care at home. I truly believe that with the right combination of companionship, support, care, dignity and real understanding, the quality of anyone’s life can be dramatically improved. Our mission is to provide the best quality care for your loved ones at home and become the employer of choice for care in our local area.
My team and I are delighted to be able to provide non-medical care such as companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, local transportation, accompanied social trips, post-hospital care and medication reminders. We recognise that our work has a wide spread positive impact for our clients, a helping hand in maintaining and enhancing the quality of their lives, gives peace of mind and great reassurance to their families.
All the support we provide is bespoke and truly person-centered care, tailored to each person to enable individuals to stay and live in the comfort, security and familiarity of their own home. My promise to you is that we will do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it. I am confident you will find the service we provide second to none as I am passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and more importantly, high quality care. That means, the same CAREGiver will come to visit you on the right day and the right time to carry out the service we have agreed with you. I know this is incredibly important to all our clients and their families. I constantly strive to ensure the level of care provided to each and every client is at the level I would expect for my own loved ones.
We recognise that the standard of care that we provide is only as good as our team of CAREGivers and therefore our selection process is uncompromising; focussing on the individual's compassion, reliability and empathy for others. Many are personally known to myself or the team, and they are all caring and compassionate people who are extremely well trained and able to offer a range of services to meet the changing needs of our clients. We invest heavily in training for our CAREGivers’ to give them the skills and confidence to deliver the exceptional quality of service that Home Instead Senior Care stands for. We take a lot of care and consideration in matching our CAREGivers with our clients so that they may have some common interests, such as gardening, pets, baking, walking, socialising etc. Our CAREGivers will encourage, stimulate and assist clients in a variety of day to day activities to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Our CAREGivers and all staff are DBS checked and have to provide us with at least FOUR references. Our CAREGivers do not wear uniforms, so to everyone else, they look like friends or family who are visiting their loved ones.
