Meet the team

The Heart of Home Instead Care.

Compassionate, Competent and Committed - our team of CAREGivers give of their time and energy to ensure that every day is a safe, comfortable and fulfilling one for their clients at home.

Karen Henderson

Hi, my name is Karen - Care Manager at Home Instead Senior Care in Warminster.

It is my role to ensure that clients receive a service of the highest quality and safety, and that our team of CAREGivers are trained and competent.

With many years of experience in caring for individuals both in their own homes and in residential care, I had become disillusioned with the standard of care being provided.

Fortunately I found Home Instead Senior Care, where I feel my passion for caring in a real and personalised way can be realised. As Care Manager it is vital to me that the organisation and it's people, have the correct ethos and values.

I love the challenges that each day brings. It is rewarding to support people to live comfortably and fulfilled in their own homes, and my greatest joy is seeing someone I care for realising their ambitions.

Chrissy Bull

Hi, My name is Chrissy.

I have been working in care for over 4 years. I have experience in personal care, learning disabilities, and domicilary care. I find my role as a CAREGiver rewarding and challenging. I take a lot of pride in what I do and find it rewarding knowing that I am making a difference to someone's life. I love trying new things and getting more experience in my field.

I now help the Home Instead Team with coordinating and admin   support to make sure things run smoothly.

Elia George Takkos

Through my journey in caring for my Dad who lives with dementia and a relative living with cerebral palsy, it has become apparent how valuable having trusted support and companionship can be. As family carers to our loved ones, we know that care is not only about attending to the immediate physical needs, but just as importantly to the emotional and social challenges that getting older confronts us with.

I have the deepest respect for my Mum who, as principal carer has been given the most difficult task of her life. Although unflinching in her commitment and love for her husband, is equally in need of support and relief.

I am really fortunate to have been given the opportunity to provide the kind of support that I expect for my own Dad and Mum, to other families in our community.

As managing director of Home Instead Warminster & Gillingham, it is a most wonderful journey to be surrounded by colleagues and CAREGivers that have compassion as their main driving force and humbled by their commitment to creating a more caring society.

It is the reason I wake up every morning!
