Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you’ll be part of a supportive team, delivering personalised care plans that help our clients live independently and with dignity in their own homes. From assisting with daily activities to providing companionship, your role is crucial in enhancing the lives of our clients.

Assisting clients with daily living activities to maintain their independence with personal, dignified care.
Helping with household duties, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Providing medication reminders to ensure clients take their prescribed medication on time.
Supporting your clients with mobility through assistance with walking and transfers, enhancing clients’ freedom within their homes.
Offering companionship, engaging in conversation, and participating in client’s hobbies and interests.
Accompanying clients to appointments or outings, providing transportation and support.
Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health, wellbeing, and environment.
