Sally Clough - Franchise Owner
As the franchise owner I am responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the business. I take an active interest in day to day running of the care services we deliver and have in the past personally delivered care to our clients.
My previous career was within high end fashion retail, then moved into interiors being responsible for 27 shops before moving onto Head of Design in my last years within the sector. I was involved in business development, people management, sales, profit and customer services and marketing.
In 2007, I made the life changing decision to buy into the Home Instead Senior Care franchise. I am passionate about the values and beliefs or our company and I am proud to be delivering quality care to the community of Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas.
Lisa Brown - Registered Care Manager
Hello, my name is Lisa, I am the Registered Care Manager for the Tamworth and Lichfield office. I joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2013 as part of the on call team. This was a complete career change for me as I had been working within Dentistry for over 15 years.
I soon worked my way up within the business to Supervisor, and then after gaining my QCF Level 5 in Management I was promoted to Deputy Care Manager.
In January 2018 I was delighted to be promoted to Care Manager.
I am now responsible for the day to day running of the office and have the pleasure of going out to clients and assessing their individual care needs.
One of the best things about working for Home Instead Senior Care is that I get to do what I love whilst providing a high quality service and making a difference to people’s lives.
I am very passionate about delivering high quality person centered care, and being part of Home Instead enables me to deliver this on a daily basis. I am very family orientated and know how important it is to find the right people to help you care for your loved ones. Karen Wilkinson- Community Service Representative
My name is Karen Wilkinson and I’m Community Service Representative for Home Instead Senior Care and I’ve been in my role for 4 years.
The role brings the freedom to network out in the local community to build positive relationships with people who regularly come into contact with the elderly and who may find our services beneficial. These could be local health or social service professionals, local business owners, councils or community groups.
Community Service Representatives organise and attend events in the community, sharing information about our services and advice about ageing. The purpose of the role is to generate awareness of Home Instead services, ethos and brand.
Recently Home Instead have opened a Memory Café in Tamworth I have very much enjoyed being a part of setting the café up and watching the numbers grow. It is a great benefit for people living with dementia in the local area and is well supported by health officials and the local council.
Before joining the company I worked in the airline industry within the customer services department and was fortunate to be able travel to many destinations. I have also worked as an events and wedding co-ordinator, it was really rewarding to be part of making a couples day really special.
