Gary Wells of award winning at home care company Home Instead Senior Care, and the residents of Sunrise Senior Living in Bramhall, literally did just that! To celebrate St Patrick’s Day the staff at Sunrise organised an event which Gary was invited to. To get into the spirit of things, Gary donned his leprechaun outfit, which went down really well with the residents.

The event started at 3pm and over 20 residents joined in during the afternoon. Irish songs were played and everybody sang along. Mainly due to the fact that the drinks on offer were Guinness, Whisky and Irish Coffee!

Dawn Williams who is Director of Communications at Sunrise invited Gary to come along and join in the celebrations. She was very impressed with his outfit and was thrilled with the success of the event. Everyone had a fantastic time.

Commenting about the event, Gary said: “It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and taking part in the event. Helping people to enjoy social occasions like this is at the heart of our service”.

Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care, David Moore said: “We have a close working relationship with Sunrise and support clients who require the extra security that residential care can provide through the transition. We also still support a number of clients who have moved into a home but still like their regular CAREGiver to come and take them out. It is a service that people thrive on!”.
