Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver Julie recently won big at the worlds largest dog show, Crufts. The show was held at Birmingham's NEC arena on Saturday 8th March, where Julie competed with her Japanese Chin boy Kaito.
"I was just so nervous as it was the first time for me as an exhibitor. I have always attended Crufts as a spectator and to do lots of shopping for my dogs!" Kaito performed really well in front of the judges with Julie's heart going a mile a minute; she came top of the class beating very experienced dogs and handlers.
After topping this class it meant that Julie and Kaito proceeded to compete in the best dog in breed, where they came runner up. "It was a fantastic day, and I didn't expect to get that far, I was speechless". Julie was very close to appearing on the BBC however she says her nerves may have got the better of her if that had happened.
We want to congratulate Julie and Katie for there efforts, what a day to remember!
