The role of a Care Professional
We’re looking for Care Professionals who are kind and compassionate and are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care understanding our values and mission. Providing continuity to both Client and Care Professional means you will see the same Clients every week, with minimum 1 hour visits enabling you to build a relationship and a routine in the comfort of their home focused around quality of life.

Why Home Instead
Competitive salary from £12.00 per hour
We are a National Living Wage employer - all Care Professionals will earn a minimum of £12 per hour. On top of this you will receive holiday pay (28 days per annum) and mileage allowance. All bank holidays worked are paid double time.
One Hour Minimum Visits
Care should never be rushed, so we’ve found the best minimum client visit time to be one hour. This help our Care Professionals focus on the overall health and wellbeing of every client and build up a lasting, trusting relationship.
Client Matching
We match Care Professionals and clients based on their personalities and interests, helping to find an instant rapport with clients they’re caring for. We will also offer relevant training for Care Pros to match their client's circumstances.
Industry Leading Training
Whether you have prior experience or none at all, each of our Care Professionals receive a breadth of professional knowledge and practical skills to help them keep their clients safe, well, and happy at home.

Do I need previous experience within the Care Sector?
Whether you are new to care entirely or have just never provided it in a professional capacity, we welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life for their values, enthusiasm and empathy. Care experience is useful but not always necessary as we provide full training to ensure all our Care Professionals gain the skills to provide care confidently and competently and so they can be proud of the high quality care they deliver to our clients.
What training does Home Instead provide?
Our Care Professionals receive industry leading, award-winning training to give them the confidence, knowledge and skills to care for our clients. Fully paid training ranges from basic moving and handling, right through to our City & Guilds assured Dementia and End of Life training, and City & Guilds preferred provider Parkinsons courses.
We have additional opportunities to gain industry recognised qualifications such as Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, and more!As a Care Pro at Home Instead you will be completely supported through a program of bespoke training and ongoing education, including opportunities to gain specialist knowledge, helping you to progress your career.
What types of homecare services does Home Instead offer?
We support our Clients with all aspects of their day to day living so they can flourish and remain independent in their own homes. The type of care we provide ranges through personal care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming, and home help involving preparing a nutritious meal and tidying the home, to companionship calls to chat and engage with Clients, or transport them to events or appointments if necessary.
