Dementia Action Alliance at Reading Borough Council

On Friday 19th of January Home Instead attended a meeting with Reading Borough Councils Health and Wellbeing Board.

In this meeting The Dementia Action Alliance spoke with the board about how they can locally improve people with dementia's lives. The Dementia Action Alliance is made up of local authorities, local businesses, volunteers and the public services who all aim to work together to make reading a more dementia friendly place. Home Instead Reading has two representatives Philip and Liz – Liz went to the meeting and was asked to do a short presentation along with Age UK Reading to talk about their involvement with the DAA and outline common goals between all parties in the DAA to help support our Clients.
