Home Instead Pocklington and Brough

My mother and myself have been delighted with Home Instead. The carers have been excellent,so caring and kind. They always carry out all tasks thoroughly and are respectful of my mothers needs and adapt to her wishes on the day. From my point of view I find the app so reassuring, being able to read how my mum is each day.  At last I feel reassured that my mum is able to remain at home with a great team who care for her so well. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to stay in their own home and for family members it is so lovely to know they are in safe hands. Thank you so so much.

The care package is truly tailormade for every individual. It also takes into account how other family members are feeling, and what steps the care team can take to assist us all during this very difficult time.  The team are usually are the same every week thus allowing us to build a relationship with them, they are cheerful and speak very highly about the company they work for, that is a huge comfort to know they are happy and looked after by their employers.

We have been very pleased with the service we have had from Home Instead. All the care staff are very professional and caring. They are very well trained before they start. They always come at the same time and it is a pleasure to see them arrive every morning to help my husband, who has Huntington’s Disease, shower and dress. They involve him in decisions and encourage him to talk. I particularly like that we have the same staff as consistency and routine are important to my husband. I enjoy the conversations with them too.
