Silverline memories benefit from a Bring Joy Foundation donation.

Silverline Memories aims to provide things to do and places to go and support for anyone who has Dementia, including support for the cares and family members. The charity provides activities such as tea dances, dementia café,memory garden and other activities to clients and their loved ones.

It is important that those living with dementia carry on living a full life doing activities they always have throughout their life. With a little support there is no reason why someone with Dementia cannot carry on living a full and active life.

The Bring Joy Foundation was set up by Home Instead UK to support people with Dementia carry living a full life. Silverline Memories applied for funding for extra day activity. They were successful in there proposal and are now planning a fish and chip day at Alnwick Castle.

A number of Home Instead Clients take part in the Silverline activities and are already looking forward to the trip to Alnwick Castle in the Spring. We can only hope that the sunshine makes an appearance.

If you are providing a service and changing the life of your clients and are a registered charity you could also apply for funding. Please do give us a call to find out how you can apply.
