Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.
Senior Home Care Services Kidderminster
We understand that your own home is where you feel the most comfortable and where you feel happiest. Whether it’s Bewdley or Hartlebury, it’s the place you know best and are most familiar with. Unfortunately, you may be faced with the possibility of having to move out of the home you love as you age, but this does not need to be the case. If you or your loved one want to remain living comfortably at home, then we can help you make that choice an informed one.
We are Home Instead Senior Care in Kidderminster. We are changing the UK’s attitude to elderly care and to ageing with our distinctive approach to supporting people at home with dedicated and professional senior care.

In December, we took part in Be a Santa to a Senior; this is a Home Instead Senior Care initiative created to provide gifts to seniors in our local community and bring us all together for the festive period. In this latest campaign, Melissa our Recruitment Development Coordinator spent her time in the festive season spreading the word in our local community and gathering as many donated gifts as possible, ready to be donated to KEMP Hospice - our chosen charity for 2019. Needless to say, the gifts were very well received by KEMP Hospice and we can't wait to get planning Be a Santa to a Senior 2020! A special mention to those who donated for this wonderful cause; Tesco, Kidderminster Sainsbury's, Kidderminster Home Instead Kidderminster, Staff Click here to find out more about what we are upto now.
Yes, we have another Dementia Friends Champion. Melissa, our Community Engagement Coordinator is our latest team member to become a Dementia Friends Champion. What is a Dementia Friends Champion? A Dementia Friends Champion is a volunteer who encourages others to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in their community. They do this by giving them information about the personal impact of dementia, and what they can do to help.
Here are just some of our team celebrating Children In Need. Melissa, our Community Engagement Coordinator arranged a pyjama day in which our team dressed in their pyjamas to raise money for this great cause. Of course as standard practice here @ Home Instead Kidderminster, there was cake!
Today, we made four more Dementia Friends at St Chads Church, Kidderminster. This brings our total to 41 Dementia Friends created by us here at Home Instead Senior Care (Kidderminster). If you would like us to hold a Dementia Friends Information Session in your community; please feel free to give us a call.
