Very happy with the companionship service Home Instead are providing, now twice a week, for my old mum – who has always been determined to stay in her own home.
The team have been very supportive of mum, in particular taking her out for her weekly shopping & out for lunches. The staff cope admirably with her idiosyncrasies & demands 🙂
The management team are attentive & responsive – adjusting & adding sessions to suit mum as she has got used to the service.

I am very pleased with the care provided. My care professional was matched to my personality and needs and the lady is very kind and considerate and nothing is too much trouble for her. We have a great laugh. I am also pleased that I have the same carer since the beginning of the service and the time of the visits are suited to me not the company. The care is also for a minimum of 1 hours so nothing feels like a rush and we get a chance to chat and laugh together. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s is not easy, and I truly admire the patience, empathy, and professionalism you brought to his daily life. Your support gave me peace of mind and comfort, knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely care. Home Instead were also very supportive through a difficult family situation with great communication by emails and the care plan access app updating me with all necessary information related to dads needs and care.
