Friday 20th 2019 saw all the Team at Home Instead join in the fun in raising money and awareness of Alzheimer's. The National Campaign was started a number of years ago and Home Instead Senior Care Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk enjoyed their 2nd year taking part in such a wonderful event.
Christmas cheer came early to the residents of East Thirsk as local organisations including; East Thirsk Community Association, The Thirsk Rotary Club, Tesco, Johnson’s of Thirsk, The Greengrocer Thirsk, Well Heeled, Co-op, Crafts of Thirsk and Home Instead Senior Care recently teamed up to provide the older residents of East Thirsk with a free complementary Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
We were delighted to launch our Activity Library to the CAREGiver's this week at their monthly Team meeting. There is a broad range of activities to do with client's with some specialist activities that can be enjoyed by client's living with dementia.
