Home Instead Senior Care – Greenwich & Bexley is a highly regarded home care provider that delivers person-centred care for older people in Royal Borough of Greenwich, London Borough of Bexley, London Borough of Lewisham and surrounding areas. The Owner and Directors Sonia and Fatta have been working with elderly Gurkha veterans and war widows in Greenwich for many years. They have been supporting these older people in Greenwich by helping them cope with loneliness and isolation. But, they soon realised that finding quality care for these veterans or anyone was not an easy task. They found it very challenging to find a care provider that caters for needs of individuals, especially in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. So, they decided to step in themselves and do something about it.
When Fatta came across Home Instead Senior Care and learnt that their business was all about making a difference and supporting older people to live independently in their own home, he knew that this was what he wanted to do. Sonia and Fatta launched Home Instead Senior Care Greenwich & Bexley, in June 2015. Like any other Home Instead office, Greenwich & Bexley office is also totally focused on providing top quality person-centred care for older people, which is tailored to the needs of individuals. Remaining independent is important, so the care we provide allows our clients to remain in their own homes, leading an independent life. We pride ourselves on tailoring our services to meet the exact requirements of our clients, giving peace of mind to families that their loved ones will be cared for with compassion and dignity.
CAREGivers are carefully matched with clients on the basis of their interest, personality and like and dislikes so that a deep and trusting relationship can be built with a familiar person, which is especially important for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
CAREGivers are well-trained individuals who have a genuine passion for caring; they undergo extensive background checks and only work with one or two clients so they can visit at the time the client requires. Our clients get the same CAREGiver all the time, which means continuity of care is very important to us.
Our minimum call is one hour, as we believe that quality at-home care cannot be provided in anything less. This enables us to form a close relationship with our clients in providing a person-centred care service which is built around the requirements of each individual, this can vary from assistance with shopping trips or appointments to social engagements, meal preparations, and much, much more – we like to believe that we have CAREGivers who will have no trouble attending to our clients every need whether it is one hour a day or 24/7.
