The Edgbaston Birmingham office of Home Instead Senior Care was established in April 2009 by myself Terry Cheung. Together with my management team and caregivers, we are passionate to make a real difference to the lives of the people we serve.
Our management team at Home Instead Edgbaston have all had personal experience in looking after our own family members, which is why we understands the difficulties and stress family members may face when looking for care and support for their loved ones and our aim is not only to support the individual clients but also to their family members as well - the well being of a client lies directly with the well being of the family carers.
We work together with the local health professionals, PCTs, different parts of communities and charities with the aim to provide a holistic service to all our clients in order to allow them to remain independent in their own home for as long as possible.
We also provide respite support to family members so that they can have their own space and peace of mind that someone is taking care of their loved ones.
We support any clients over 18 years of age with long term illnesses. Although we work a great deal with the elderly. Our youngest client is currently 25 years old and we currently support clients affected by mental health and learning disabilities as well as physical disabilities. The key focus is on providing consistent and compatible caregivers to develop a close companionship with the clients, which is why we have a wide range of caregivers of different backgrounds from youngest 22 years old to our oldest is 70 years old!

We have created over 80 new jobs in Birmingham and we continue to grow, but more importantly, we have made a positive contribution to the lives of over 100 clients since April 2009.
