Home Instead Senior Care raising Money for Children In Need in Telford, Newport and Bridgnorth

Being the experts in supporting our senior citizens in the Telford, Newport and Bridgnorth areas, we are no strangers to holding regular coffee mornings in the community. However, this one had a difference as we were asking for donations and the chance to win a raffle for children in need. Our own Sally Carter has been pounding the streets, speaking to our friends and colleagues and families at our Family Dementia workshops to drum up support and interest in the coffee morning.

On Friday 15th November 2013 at the Coffee morning itself,  we all went a bit spotty, we weren’t harbouring anything contagious, just raising money for young carers ! Thanks to the generous support of colleagues and friends in  making cakes, sending raffle prizes and making donations we raised £129. The winners of the Raffle were Mhairi  McPhillips who won the Pudsey Bear, Janet Fewtrall won a toiletries gift set and Tracey Gunning won some spotty gift bags.

Not bad for a mornings work!
