Caring Kinga takes on new role as Care Manager

Home Instead Senior Care, East Cheshire, based in Macclesfield, is delighted to announce the appointment of Kinga Stepien-Bialy, as their new Deputy Care Manager.

Kinga (31), who lives in Macclesfield, comes to Home Instead with a wealth of experience, having previously worked at a local care home. Gaining her first experience of care when looking after her grandmother, Kinga became aware of the importance of keeping older people in their own homes and saw, first hand, what a difference good quality care can make.

Kinga commented, “I am delighted to be working at Home Instead. Older people are often unjustly stereotyped as being incapable of making their own decisions and people also forget that older people have a wealth of knowledge and interesting experiences and stories to share. In fact, whilst out on a service call, I was able to share my love of art with one of our 98 year old clients in a two hour long discussion, leaving my colleagues wondering where I had got to!”

It was her personal experience which led her to want to work in care. She lives by the ethos of treating others how you would wish to be treated, saying, “This motto is extremely important within the care sector because you can then guarantee that you are providing someone with high quality care, as everybody wants to be treated with respect and dignity.”

When she’s not working, Kinga is passionate about classical music, walking and art.

If you are interested in making a difference to the lives of older people in the Macclesfield area by joining the Home Instead team or for more information, please call 01625 860992 or visit www.homeinstead.co.uk/eastcheshire
