Be a Santa to a Senior

We were absolutely thrilled to help our neighbours from the HI Greenwich & Bexley office in December with the 'Be a Santa to a Senior' campaign!

With the amazing help from some students of the Leigh Academy in Blackheath we all packed special hampers and gift bags with tokens that had been kindly donated by local supermarkets such as Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

The students also added hand made cards and messages to the hampers and bags.

110 gifts came together and were later delivered to various charities and distributed to vulnerable people in the community, bringing a little sparkle to their Christmas.

Speaking of the campaign, Sonia Thapa, owner of Home Instead Greenwich said, “This year's Be a Santa to a Senior was an incredible success. Not only did we deliver lots of wonderful gifts and hampers to people in the local community, but we also had a chance to work alongside wonderful charities and organisations who share the same goal of working together to help people. It is our small way of making sure we give a little back to the older generation and ensure they start the festive season with a good party and catching up with friends.”
