How can Home Instead Cleveland help your loved one with dementia?

Here at Home Instead, we offer support for all forms and levels of dementia, whether it be early onset, moderate or advanced. Our staff are trained to spot early signs of dementia and how to make people living with dementia easier and safer.

We have supported many, many families with visits from maybe just an hour a day to full, 24 hour support. We have a tremendous track record in ensuring people living with dementia are able to stay at home where they want to be, where they are surrounded by their memories and where they are most familiar, for the greatest amount of time.

Our services may include helping your loved one get dressed in the morning, whilst maintaining as much of their independence as possible. We can prompt or administer prescribed medication as needed. If only a morning visit is required, we could prepare meals for later in the day. On an evening, we can prepare a meal and support your loved one with getting in their night wear ready for bed. Whatever the requirements, we are here to help! We have great experience in supporting people with all kinds of dementia and how it affects them as an individual, tailoring all our efforts around the person.

We have collaborated with Dementia Friends to provide training and awareness in dementia and Alzheimer’s, at the initial comprehensive training which all our CAREGivers must successfully complete before commencing work with regular update sessions and client reviews helping make that support extremely bespoke. More in depth training is also offered in the form of a City and Guilds qualification in Dementia and Alzheimer’s Awareness.
