Lashings of Mulled Wine and mugs of Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and grated chocolate followed by the "Greatest Hits" of assorted M&S cakes and scrumptious Mince Pies! It must be the final two Home Instead coffee mornings of 2012.
In keeping with Gail's philosophy to embrace the Home Instead family, the children and grand children of our CAREGivers were placed at the centre of proceedings, which were held over two separate days to maximise everyone’s availability.
With party hats, Christmas crackers, soft drinks, sweets from the tree, drawing and other exciting games played, it turned out to be a lovely time for all those involved and the coffee morning culminated in a little present from Santa, which he had already kindly placed under the tree.
In amongst the Merry Making and fun there were a number of serious messages, with announcements covering: the recruitment of a Senior CAREGiver, enhancements in CAREGiver pay scales in 2013, "Pipe Line" work streams, the 2013 Laing & Buisson Independent Specialist Care Award and the recruitment of a CAREGiver apprentice in 2013.
