Owner Sue ‘races for life’ for Cancer Research

Owner of Homeinstead Senior Care in Chester and Ellesmere Port, Sue Broadbent recently ran for the ‘Race for Life’ cause for fundraising for Cancer Research. Sue owns the Care at home company with her husband Chris. They provide be-spoke care packages for the elderly throughout Chester and Ellesmere Port, providing personalised care for the Elderly and vulnerable. This enables them to stay at home for longer in their own homes, with companionship care being one of the main types of care provided.

Sue, pictured with her friends Julie and Anne just before the race said ’I was very humbled and honoured to be asked to participate with such a great and worthy cause .I have had personal and very sad experiences of Cancer in the family ,when I lost my great friend and sister-in law, Kate to the disease several years ago. I ran this in her memory….and so far my group of friends has raised nearly £400 for this worthy cause.’
