Home Instead welcomes Red Cross to our Spring Caregiver Meeting
Home Instead in Chester and Ellesmere Port recently welcomed the British Red Cross to its Spring Caregiver meeting. Emma Edwards, Service Co-Ordinator for the Red Cross locally, gave a very interesting and informative talk to the 45 Staff and CAREGivers who attended the meeting held at our normal location. Emma’s talk highlighted what a valuable service they provide to the local community and there was plenty of interest and questions from our CAREGivers when she had finished.
Sue Broadbent; Co Owner of Homeinstead in Chester and Ellesmere Port(pictured with Emma) said following the talk, ‘We appreciate Emma taking time out of her busy schedule to come and talk to our lovely Caregivers and Office support team members. We fully appreciate the role the Red Cross plays in the community, and it is important we are aware of how their services dovetail into what we provide. Increasingly, we are providing more Home Help and Companionship Care to support our many Clients, many of whom have Dementia, who we support at home maintaining their Independence. To be more aware of what the Red Cross provides helps us in this regard’
