Personally I cannot thank everyone who has come into contact with my mother at Home Instead Bexhill & Hastings enough, particularly over this last year. Although very reluctant at first to even accept that she needed help, she now knows that life would be very much more difficult if it wasn’t for you. This pandemic has also shown us all some home truths, particularly those who have looked upon roles such as CAREGivers as being of little value. It’s not until you have someone you can’t visit, particularly elderly and frail relatives, that it hits home. Where would you be without their vital help and care? I wonder very much how attitudes, ideas, etc. will change after this. Perhaps there will remain a spark that will remind people of the valuable contribution all care givers have made to reassuring relatives that their loved ones are being looked after. ’’
