Home care in Belfast

Have been impressed with Home Instead (Belfast) for the quality of care provided. The consistency of the carers, communication and caring approach. The organisation are very efficient. The client looks forward to visits and finds all staff caring and friendly.

My Mum was reluctant to use this service – she was completely against it from the beginning. The carers who originally came in must have wondered what they were letting themselves in for. That quickly changed and my Mum had got into the habit of hanging up my phone calls because her friends (carers) had arrived and she was more interested in talking to them than me! I can’t thank Home Instead Belfast enough in the help they have provided over the last few months – the level of compassion, friendship and help they have given to my mother has been above and beyond. Calls if they had even the slightest concern were frequently made to me – I can’t recommend highly enough.

A brilliant service! The staff were always patient, kind and caring to me and my mother. They were proactive, responding quickly and appropriately to my mother’s needs in a friendly, professional manner. I will be recommending this company to anyone I know who would need some support with elderly relatives and I won’t hesitate to use them again in the future!

My family decided to look for some home help for our mum after my dad died, I phoned a few companies, but instantly knew once I spoke to Home Instead they were professional and gave us confidence that mum would be well looked after. The carer who comes to see mum is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, it gives us such comfort knowing that she has someone calling and they are so flexible when needed. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

The information provided was really well communicated and we had a clear understanding of the service to be provided. In fact the communication on an ongoing basis was above our expectations. All staff that we dealt with and met were helpful, courteous, professional and caring. The genetleman, who was in charge, couldn’t have been more helpful, updating when required and very caring in his approach. Our service provided overall was excellent and based on our experiences I would highly recommend.
