Memory Cafes
We currently run two successful memory cafes and are looking to launch a third in the coming months. You can read about our two current cafes here. We have some lovely individuals attend each month, and the group have developed strong friendships and look forward to the next meetings. Currently, our cafes are in Lympsham and Clevedon, with a new one starting up soon in Congresbury at Heather’s Coffee Shop.
This is a useful annual event we hold to help members of our community find support services to help them live happily, healthily and safely at home for as long as possible. We have around twenty-four local companies attend to exhibit their services and talk to members of the community. One of our regular companies we have at the event is the Alzheimer’s Society. Their friendly advisors will be attending this year’s event to talk to anyone wanting to find out about dementia and support available to them. The event is being held at The Sovereign Shopping Centre on Friday 13th June, 11am – 2pm.
