We are looking for people who would like to work evenings between 5pm-9pm and alternate weekends. Approximately 20 hours per week.
We're looking for caring, compassionate people who would like to make a positive difference to the lives of older people in their local communities. This might involve helping people with getting up and dressed in the morning, to making lunch together, or reminiscing about the good old days over a nice cup of tea. Our clients' CAREGivers visit them on a regular basis, taking time to get to know them, and allowing a trusting relationship to develop, and it's this personal touch that we pride ourselves on. We understand that no two people's experience of ageing is ever the same; that our clients each have lives of difference and value, and that they require tailored levels of support according to this.
We are a small, growing team, and value our CAREGivers and the high standard of care they provide, as reflected in the quality of training and support that we offer. We recognise and share good practice, are open to ideas that might improve our CAREGivers experience, and support ongoing career development.
We provide care at all times, but are busiest in the mornings from 8-10.30, and evenings from 5-8, so we do look for availability at some of these times. Reliable transport is needed for this area as clients can be some distance apart. We pay mileage.
