How other providers work

The way that the majority of care providers pay their staff is simple; you are paid a set wage, and that is exactly how much you can expect to earn for every hour worked. Because of this, these providers can afford to pay slightly more per hour which creates the illusion that their staff are better paid than those at Home Instead. Most other providers will not pay their Care Professionals for travel time, mileage and some don’t even pay for training. On top of this, a lot of providers offer visits of 30 to even 15 minutes, which means Care Pros are always in a hurry to complete tasks and spend all day driving from one visit to another.
