Owned by Jean Allen and run by a very motivated office team, the driving force in the office is to deliver a service any of us would wish for our own family. Between them the team has many years experience in organising and delivering care at home. The office was set up in January 2009 and we have achieved a steady growth since then
While all our calls are a minimum of one hour, we can provide care at home for as little as one visit a week to 24 hour care. For all our personal care, home help and companionship care services we develop an individualised care plan which is flexible and adapted as the needs of the client changes.
Since we opened we have seen how simple services such as our befriending and medication support can greatly improve the quality of life of the elderly. Such support not only returns dignity and independence to the person we care for, but also greatly assists their families.
Home Instead caregivers are our most valuable resource. We look for caring and dependable people who will go the extra mile. We have a strict recruitment process which includes enhanced CRB checks and six reference checks. Many of our caregivers have already had experience of personal care, home help or companionship through personal life experience. We build on this through our training and supervision.
