Home Instead Senior Care Cardiff has been operating since September 2009. The business was set up by a local man, Philip Batchelor, who previously had worked as a Director and Managing Director of large food manufacturing companies. Sara Pateras is the Care Manager for the Cardiff office and has many years experience in the provision of care for older people. We are proud to provide high quality home care in Cardiff, Penarth & surrounding areas.
Philip decided to get involved in the care sector having a number of years ago experienced a situation when his father had terminal cancer. It became apparent that there was little provision for home care help to support the excellent medical attention that his father was receiving, and Philip’s brother had to give up his job to bridge the gap.
Philip met Trevor Brocklebank, the UK Franchisor of Home Instead, at a national franchise exhibition and found the company’s vision to “change the face of ageing” truly inspirational. Philip was sure that Home Instead Senior Care specialised in the kind of high quality care that had previously been missing. Outside of work, Philip is active in his local community including as; a member of The Veterans' Mental Health Support Group, A fundraiser for The Alzheimer's Society and a member of The Rotary Club of Cardiff Bay.
