Since Home Instead Telford North began in 2010, we have been increasingly asked to provide a Live-In Care service to meet the changing needs and circumstances of some of our clients and families. The service is very different to our hourly based care service so we wanted to make sure that we could offer the same quality and consistent service for Live-In Care as we do currently.
What is Live In care? Live-In Care is an increasingly popular choice for many people who are reassured by the presence, day and night, of a dedicated and well-matched Home Instead Care Professional who lives in your home and provides support, companionship and care tailored to your needs.
How does it work? Sharing your home with a new person is a sensitive decision and that is why Home Instead carefully match you with a Home Instead Live-In Care Professional, as they do for their hourly care. Together you design a plan of care that sets out when the Home Instead Care Professional will work, what they will do day-to-day and when they will rest.
Continuous Support: Home Instead Live-In Care provides round-the-clock support and companionship. A Care Professional lives with an individual, or couple, offering assistance whenever needed, including during the night. This ensures that the person is never alone and can access support at any time.
Emotional Support: Living with a Home Instead Care Professional can help alleviate feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression that individuals may experience. The presence of a consistent companion can provide emotional support, improve mental well-being, and enhance overall quality of life.
Enhanced Safety: Home Instead Live-In Care Professionals can actively monitor a person’s safety, reducing the risk of accidents or emergencies. They can assist with mobility, medication management, fall prevention, and ensure that the home environment is safe and suitable for all needs.
