John Betjeman Centre are raising money to start a Mobility Repair Shop!

We were delighted to donate £100 towards the new Mobility Repair Shop at the John Betjeman Centre in Wadebridge.

The aim is to have a  purpose-built wooden shed to allow for repairing of mobility scooters, wheelchairs and other mobility aids. The repair shop will have work experience placements from Wadebridge School to teach the students repair skills.

This exciting project will cost £5000, and they are almost there now! If you would like to donate, please contact Emma at the JBC on 01208 812392

We use the centre every 1st and 3rd Tuesday for interviews or training and are able to see first hand the great variety of activities they have for older people, including support groups, sitting yoga, knit and natter and they host a memory cafe.

If you’d like to know more about the high quality, relationship led service we provide please call on 01726 829312 or email [email protected]
