My name is Paul Westgarth and as the owner of the Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford Office of Home Instead Senior Care, it’s my job to make sure my team provide high quality, bespoke domiciliary care services to enable elderly people to continue to live with dignity and respect in the comfort of their own homes.

I know through personal experience, that finding in home care, companionship and support for yourself or an elderly friend or loved older family member is a complex and often daunting task.

When trying to find the right service to provide in home help for the elderly, whether its respite care or part of a full package of home care services, above all, you need to know that you are employing people that you can trust.

You want the reassurance of an organisation that is fully insured and quality assured, one that is recognised and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (click on the Link on the left for their latest report), one that has a reputation for providing the highest standards of home care and companionship. You want an organisation that matches the needs of its clients with the skills and expertise of its highly trained, compassionate CAREGivers. You want an organisation that provides the in home care that meets YOUR specific needs, not the dictates of a faceless 'care plan' . You deserve an organisation that puts dignity, respect and needs of you and your loved ones first.

Here at Home Instead Senior Care Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford we provide a flexible range of in home care services tailored to each individual’s needs and personal circumstances. Our non-medical service can include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, local transport and errands, medication reminders, post discharge enablement, personal care and specialised dementia care. Not to mention respite for current carers and more. In short, we provide the in home support necessary to enable our senior clients to continue to live fulfilling and independent lives in their own homes, for as long as possible.

We match our CAREGivers thoughtfully to each client and seek to build lasting and meaningful relationships, modifying our in home service as needs change. We provide a range of services from short term respite care or holiday cover for carers through post-operative re-enablement and home help, all the way up to 24 hour personal support for some of our senior clients.

As the owner of Home Instead in Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford it’s my mission to ensure we provide our clients with the sort of Care in the Home that I demand for my own elderly parent and enable our senior clients to continue to live a fulfilling, dignified life in their own homes for as long as possible.

We like to think we are different. We build a package of care that's unique to you. So give us a call, there is no cost and no obligation, we will come to you and be happy to discuss your at-home care needs and see how we can help you, your friend or older family member, because: "to us, it’s personal".

Home Instead Senior Care

Trying to ensure a high standard of care is provided to an elderly parent can be a minefield. Until we contacted Home Instead we had previously employed two organisations who were unable to provide staff continuity, reliability or staff who were sufficiently well trained. Home Instead has been a really refreshing experience in comparison. K, the Manager took time and care to really try and understand our father’s needs and to match him with S, his carer. S provides an excellent service by taking time to talk to and listen to my Dad; she is trained in how to work with people with dementia so understands how to relate to him. K is regularly in touch to let us know if there is anything we need to be aware of, meaning we have peace of mind. Dad has regular company when the family are working and unable to be there as often as we would wish, which is reassuring for us. Home instead takes a truly thoughtful and personalised approach to elderly care. I could not hesitate to recommend them. Mrs W - Mrs W, Maidenhead
