Welcome to Home Instead Senior Care, Isle of Man.
Our ethos is one of enabling clients to fulfil their hope to stay in their own home, and we pride ourselves in offering a bespoke service for each client and their family. Our visits will never be rushed; we visit for a minimum of 1 hour; any less and in our view the care is task-driven, rather than person-centred.
The business is owned and managed by Phil Wiseman, and myself, Emer Wiseman, and is registered with the Department of Health and Social Care as a Domiciliary Care Service. Based on our own experiences of finding at-home care for both our mothers, we believe that the client's needs should be at the heart of our services. Person centred care is first and foremost about identifying the needs of the client, and meeting these, often dynamic, needs in their own home, in familiar surroundings. Our CAREGivers are trained to treat each client, and their home, with dignity and respect at all times.
Our CAREGivers are selected for their maturity, compassion, empathy and caring nature; they receive comprehensive induction training and are fully vetted. We strive to provide each client with the same regular CAREGivers, so that we build trust between the client, their family and ourselves. We always aim to have a regular replacement CAREGiver available should the need arise and an introduction to new CAREGivers is always made in person by one of the owners. We never send a stranger, we understand that your home is precious.
We visit for an initial care consultation; we consider it is important to support all family members throughout this sometimes challenging journey. Home Instead Isle of Man are passionate about doing what we say we will do, about reliability and about responding to the needs of our clients and their families. If you would like us to come along and see how we can make a difference, call for an informal chat on 822545. You can follow the link to Our Care Services to find an extensive, but not exhaustive, list of how we can help.
We are managed and operated locally on the Isle of Man, employing and training CAREGivers who have a heart for caring for the elderly. Our team are all part-time, they visit a small number of clients each week, and we especially welcome employment applications from mature members of our community. We encourage our staff to take a health and social care QCF qualification, at level 3. To register your interest in becoming a CAREGiver, call us or click on Vacancies.
