Mark and Vanessa McGlade know first hand the difficulties of finding quality home care for elderly people. Having sadly lost close family members and dear friends over recent years, they know how important person-centred, dependable support is when caring for loved ones.

Offering services ranging from companionship, home help, personal care and specialist dementia and Alzheimer's support. Home Instead regards it as a special privilege to look after people with genuine care, compassion and dignity and are regional and national winners of many care quality and dignity awards.

It is this ethos which drives Mark and Vanessa to provide the highest quality elderly home care available in the Exeter and East Devon area. They are CQC registered and all their CAREGivers are thoroughly trained and vetted and their skills and life experiences are then carefully matched to the individual needs of each client. They offer continuity of care with the same CAREGiver visiting the same client and emphasise the development of trusting, dependable relationships.

With Home Instead the wish to remain at home is a genuine option and Mark and Vanessa are delighted to be able to offer such a quality home care service in East Devon.

Some clients receive one hour of housekeeping help a week, while for others twenty four hour specialist dementia support is required. Other clients require respite assistance of a couple of hours once a month to a week or two at a time while they, or a loved one takes a well earned break.  Whatever the degree of support required it is delivered with the same genuine care, compassion and dignity you would expect from a top quality care company.  Home care support is provided throughout the Exeter and East Devon area in Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton and surrounding towns and villages.

Discharge from hospital is often a difficult time, Home Instead is able to put personalised care packages in place  to meet individual, changing needs, generally within 24 hours.  All CAREGivers are trained in reablement, ensuring a return to normal heath and wellbeing is optimised during the period of our support.

If you or someone you love would benefit from the quality home care offered by Home Instead please call, it would be a pleasure to talk things through.

My wife and I (aged 93 and 91) remain in our own home, but are only able to continue living here with the assistance of Home Instead, assistance which is readily given and tailored to our needs.  A lady member of staff attends daily and does our shopping, washing and ironing, sewing, she prepares vegetables and fruit for lunch.  She changes our beds regularly and ensures we take our medication.  She walks my wife to her hairdresser weekly and collects her.  They keep our son, a doctor in Hampshire advised of our condition. In short, life in our own home would not be possible without the help provided by Home Instead.Overall Standard - Excellent Care/Support - Excellent Treated with Dignity - Excellent Staff - Excellent Management - Excellent Value for Money - Excellent - Mr Y, Budleigh Salterton
