Home Instead is starting a new monthly Activity & Social Group for older people at The Brighouse Rest Centre in the heart of Brighouse.
Home Instead’s new monthly Activity & Social Group takes place every third Thursday in the month from 16th November at the popular and centrally located Brighouse Rest Centre.
Each session runs from 2pm to 4pm and will help older people to get together, socialise and have fun playing indoor bowls, Cornhole (with bean bags) and board games. For those who just want to watch or talk, there is space and opportunity for that too.
The sessions are run by Home Instead in partnership with Re-engage the befriending charity for older people and entry is by donation. And if you have difficulties getting to the Rest Centre in Brighouse, the Access Bus is now available to book. To reserve your place call West Yorkshire Metro on 0113 348 1903. You will need your bus pass to use the service.
Whether you want to join in with the games or just join us for a cuppa, quiz and a chat, you will be given a warm welcome.

What: Bowling, Cornhole (bean bag throwing), games, quizzes, conversation and refreshments.
