My name is Caroline Woodhead – Recruitment & Training Manager
I live locally, in the market town of Crewkerne, with my husband, two lovely children and a daft Chocolate Labrador.
I initially joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver in October 2017. I really enjoyed getting to know our Clients, I have met some amazing and interesting people, and built some really strong relationships with them and their families. Because of this, I have seen first-hand how we are enriching our clients lives through the quality of the care and companionship we are providing.
Due to the company’s success and growth, the opportunity arose for me to further my career by moving into my new role as Recruitment and Training Manager.
Our fabulous team of dedicated CAREGivers are at the heart of what we do. So, for me to spend my days meeting and recruiting others who believe in the HISC ethos, and who are willing to go that extra mile for our Clients, is a pleasure.
Not only are Home Instead committed to their Clients, but their staff too. I look forward to supporting our CAREGivers with any qualifications or extended learning that they may wish to pursue.
I hold an NVQ Level 2 in Social Care and, with the encouragement of the team here at Home Instead, have just completed a Level 2 in Mental Health Awareness. I never want to stop learning, so hope to gain many more qualifications over time.
Most of my free time is spent with my family and friends. I’m outdoorsy, a lover of coastlines and countryside’s. Photography is my passion, so wherever we are, I always have my Canon in my hand. I also love to sing and dance (although I’m told not very well), and to laugh. I like to laugh a lot!
Ashley Gray, Director
My name is Ashley, and I am the Director of the Yeovil, Sherborne and Bridport branch of Home Instead. I live near Martock, in South Somerset, with my wife and three sons.
I set up the Home Instead office as I firmly believe that the ageing process should not equate to losing one’s identity or dignity. I feel that older people (like the rest of the population) are entitled to maintain their independence and remain in their own familiar environment, if they so wish.
My ambition is for excellence within the care provision sector. Home Instead offers a high-quality bespoke service to clients, that is based on the principles of empathy and respect. Our CAREGivers are of course fundamental to the business. They are carefully selected for their values, passion and commitment to caring for the older population.
From a personal perspective, I am very much looking forward to building long term relationships within the local community.

Kyleigh Elliott, Registered Manager
My name is Kyleigh Elliott, and I joined Home Instead Senior Care in September 2017, as a registered Care Manager. Part of my job role includes training and inducting staff to empower them, complying with regulations set by care quality commissions, and ensuring clients needs are met to the highest standard.
Before joining Home Instead, I worked as an Assistant Manager for mental health and complex health needs, supporting individuals to gain independent living skills to move on and live a fulfilled life. I have worked in the care industry for over 10 year's and have extensive knowledge of varied client needs, ranging from learning disability, physical disability and complex health needs. During this time I have gained many qualifications, including a diploma Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends and host dinner parties.
