Changing the face of homecare in Wrexham and Flintshire
A North Wales Home Care company’s unique ethos which sees homecare and companionship go hand-in-hand has received standout ratings from its clients and employees in brand new independent research.(Smith and Anderson)
Home Instead Senior Care delivers a unique relationship-led homecare service which helps older people to live in the comfort and familiarity of their own home as long as possible.
Its approach includes homecare visits that last a minimum of one hour, with older people matched to dedicated CAREGivers based on common interests. And there’s always time to talk with the Home Instead way - which keeps loneliness amongst an ageing population at bay.
From the 2017 independent survey results of our current clients and CAREGivers
100% say their CAREGiver was properly introduced
85% say their CAREGiver is well matched to their needs
92% say the office team are responsive to any queries
92% are likely to recommend Home Instead to a friend
Delighted with the findings, Matthew, Owner of Home Instead Wrexham and Deeside said: “We are committed to providing only the very best care and companionship to our clients and it is good to know that we are getting it right. We take time to care, both for our clients and our CAREGivers. It’s good to know that we are getting it right in their eyes too.
“Our calls are a minimum of one hour because we believe quality care can’t be delivered in less time. And we make sure that our clients are well matched to their CAREGivers based on mutual interests, locality and Client choice. The survey results demonstrate just how important this is, as 85% of clients agreed that their CAREGiver is matched to their needs and 92% feel their CAREGiver takes an interest in them as a person. We believe relationship-led homecare has to have these core principles at its heart.
“But changing the face of homecare isn’t just about our clients. It is also about our CAREGivers, the incredible people who go the extra mile each and every day caring for their clients, special people who are recruited for their empathy and compassion.”
The results show that CAREGivers feel valued, respected and part of the bespoke Home Instead ethos:
100% understood why Home Instead is different from other care companies,
100% say they are given enough time to deliver desired levels of care to clients,
100% would recommend Home Instead Senior Care as a job to a friend.
100% say they have enough time to deliver desired service levels.
I can't praise this company enough. I am LPA for my neighbours; she has Alzheimer's. I am a senior clinical nurse with extremely high standards, I dreaded having to get a care package organised as it became necessary. I picked Home Instead after a few interviews with different agencies, as I was impressed by the manager. The agency, and the Manager have met my expectations and hopes and more. The kindness and compassion shown by them has been of a very high standard; they maintain dignity and go out of their way to be creative and personal giving support. The client has been challenging. The Home Instead team have not been fazed by this, but have calmly and professionally helped and responded quickly (often within a few hours) to increasing needs. Once I had to change the package 3-times in one day as things escalated. The Manager is quite simply outstanding, good care obviously matters to her. I think it is her honesty, integrity and genuine concern that makes her so special.Mrs J.W
