I joined Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield in March 2017.
My background includes sales, marketing and social housing. As the Networker for Home Instead my role is to build relationships within the community and to develop marketing and promotional activities.
In my spare time i enjoy socialising, walking my dog Annie and musical theatre.

Hi I’m Heather, owner of the Welwyn & Hatfield office of Home Instead Senior Care. I have two grown up children, Frankii and James and have been married to my husband Chris for over 25 years.
With the support and encouragement of my family and friends I am confident that Home Instead Senior Care can, and will make a real difference to the lives of individuals within our community.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my two dogs and socialising with my family and friends.
Care Manager - Barbara Hedge
Hi my name is Barbara I live in an idyllic village between Welwyn Garden City and Hertford with my husband of some nigh on forty years. I have been within the Home Care industry for some fourteen years.I feel I have gained a wealth of experience having worked within Sheltered Housing for Older people as well as Domiciliary Care. Firmly I believe that most people of a certain age needing some assistance with everyday living continue to enjoy life to the full whilst remaining in their own home so much more than uprooting themselves to a residential facility.I feel I have had great success in advising Clients of the services that not only can we accommodate but also services which may enhance their daily lives. For many people having the companionship of a friendly trustworthy Caregiver can have a huge impact on their lives, so much so my husband often asks if he could have a personal Caregiver.As a great believer in living life to the full and also that home is best I have joined Home Instead Senior Care with the firm belief that their outlook on assisting adults to live their lives as independently as possible and to continue to live among their family and friends for many years to come. Independence is something we should not have to give up on when such professional assistance is available and enablement to such a fulfilling future goal.
Deputy Care Manager - Nicola Hollis
Nicola joined Home Instead in 2011 becoming one of our first CAREGivers to join the team! After 2 years as a CAREGiver Nicola left to take some time for herself and returned again in 2013.
In 2014 she joined the Office Team as our Care Coordinator. In November 2017 Nicola took up the position of Deputy Care Manager carrying out our Client Service Calls which involves meeting new prospective Clients and their families and guiding them through the Home Care process and also assisting with all of our current clients requirements.
Office Manager - Frankii Simms
Hi my name is Frankii, I handle the day to day running of our office ensuring we have everything we need, All Social Media, Website changes and ensuring our Folders are keep up to date and fully compliant.
I have been with Home Instead since 2012 first joining as the Admin Support.
We are very proud to have a priceless team of dedicated, compassionate and reliable CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care Welwyn & Hatfield, all of whom go above and beyond the call of duty to take care of their clients. These are people who genuinely care about the people we support.
