A Home Instead Watford Welcome - Nov 2020
Amanda Grimston is joining us in the role of Assistant Head of Care working alongside Jody and Katia in the care team. She has 20 years of experience working for the NHS in Community Healthcare as a District Nurse. Amanda is also a Dementia Champion. She is a Watford Borough Councillor and enjoys being part of the local community.
Amanda is going to use her vast experience to support some of our more complex care packages and will also visit clients who have recently fallen or been in hospital to reassess and work closely with the community teams to ensure that the care we are delivering is safe and the highest quality it can be. She says that her top priority when looking after others is caring for them, so coming to Home Instead means she is doing what she loves!
Amanda lives in Watford with my husband, youngest daughter and her fiancé and we have a mad dog called Oswald. I’m also a grandmother to 2 year old Marley.
We are really excited that Amanda has chosen to join Home Instead and we know that with her brilliant experience she is going to bring real value and support to both our clients and our CAREGivers.
