Franchise Owner - Tim Roe

Tim’s role is to manage the business and develop links with the local community and better understand the services that are available to our clients. 

This involves spending a lot of time talking to health care professionals, social services, charities, voluntary organisations and any other organisations that provide goods and services relevant to our clients. 

By doing this, we are able to provide our clients and their families not only with practical advice and support but can also signpost them to other resources available to them in the local area – be it the local contact at Age Concern or The Alzheimer’s Society, or even a mobile hairdresser! 

Tim has two children and enjoys walking, body boarding and sports cars.

Care Manager - Richard Asbridge

Care Manager - Richard Asbridge

Richard is our Care Manager and has overall responsibility for our care operations and ensuring our clients are happy with the service they receive from Home Instead.

Richard is a highly experienced Care Manager who holds an NVQ level 4 Health and Social Care and a QCF level 5 Diploma in Management, a Level 3 Diploma in End of Life Care and has his PTTLS certificate which enables him to train new staff to ensure consistency and quality of the service.

Richard has worked in the care field for many years, beginning his working life as a care worker with children with profound and multiple physical difficulties and associated learning difficulties. He spent 17 years working for SCOPE in a variety of roles the last of which was acting head of care in a special school, before moving to set up a supported living scheme with a Local Charity in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Following two years setting up the scheme he stayed on with the charity to manage two community living schemes for a further 8 years before moving into recruitment and managing a care desk supporting homes and community services throughout West Yorkshire. He then went on to manage supported living services for adult with Autism and Mental Health problems in Leeds and Wakefield. Prior to joining Home Instead Richard was the Care Manager for another care at home business based in Bradford, which he helped to set up and turn into a very successful business.

Richard is married with two children and has been holidaying in Cornwall with his family for many years. He also has family in Cornwall. Like many other people, Richard and his family decided to make the move to Cornwall from West Yorkshire in order to enjoy the unique lifestyle that Cornwall offers, and they intend to make the most of it!

Deputy Manager - Hannah Webb

Deputy Manager - Hannah Webb

Hannah is our Deputy Manager.  Her main role is to support our fantastic team of Caregivers and is involved in all aspects of Caregiver recruitment, training and development.

Hannah has worked in social care for over 20 years and is a fully qualified Registered Manager.  Prior to joining Home Instead ran her own home care agency in St Austell.

Hannah lives just outside St Austell with her son.

Care Coordinator - Mary Keel

Care Coordinator - Mary Keel

Mary is orginally from South Africa but now lives in Falmouth with her husband. Mary has had a varied career, working in South Africa and in the UK.  She has worked as a live in carer, run her own business and has even worked in an Estate Agent.  

More recently Mary joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver, so has a very good understanding of our ethos.

Mary's main focus is to ensure that we provide the right CAREGiver at the right time to each of our clients. Mary spends a great deal of time matching our CAREGivers and clients to ensure that they can provide the best quality of care.

When Mary isn't working for us, she enjoys spending time with her family, including occasional trips to sunny South Africa..

Our fantastic Caregivers are the heartbeat of our business.  

They are all very thoroughly trained, DBS checked and insured, but more importantly they are all caring and compassionate. 

They all believe that providing good quality care takes time and involves getting to know their clients so they can deliver care that is tailored to their clients’ individual needs.

On behalf of my father and the family I would like to express our thanks to the Home Instead team for the care and support provided to my mother over the last months of her life. I was impressed at the consistent high standard of care provided. Everyone involved with my mother treated her with consideration and respect, endeavouring to maintain her dignity in what were sometimes difficult situations when she was reluctant to accept the care she needed.  The commitment and dedication of the staff involved allowed my mother to fulfill her wish to stay at home despite her complex needs, and to die peacefully in her living room with the comforting presence of my father. Although the loss of my mother leaves us with much sadness and a huge gap in our lives we are very grateful that she experienced a good death.  Knowing that she was able to die peacefully at home is a comfort and help when we contemplate the inevitable future for ourselves.
