Lynn founded Home Instead, Tavistock and Tamar Valley in 2018. This followed a career as an Army officer, raising a family, and caring for her mum who ultimately lost her battle with dementia.
Lynn is very active in the community supporting those with dementia.

Sandie has been with us from the start and has recently stepped back from being the Registered Manager. A proud mum and grand mum, her extensive career spans care, banking, and mean pub quizzes!

Hayley grew up in the Tamar Valley and has worked in care since 2004. She is NVQ level 5 and our Registered Manager.
Rooted in the community and keeper of a menagerie of pets, she is the principle contact for our clients and Care Professionals.

Clare has over 20 years’ experience in recruiting, training, and development prior to joining Home Instead in early 2021.

Anne has lived near Tavistock for over 30 years, always working in the care sector, and having run a residential home for people with long term mental health problems. Anne collects Springer Spaniels!

Heather moved to Tavistock in 2007. A former teacher, she’s a keen gardener, book club member and community volunteer.
When not on the moor, she assists delivery of in-house training and management of My Learning Cloud, office administration, and acts as Privacy Champion.

Klara has over ten years of experience working in care, after a first career as a primary school teacher. Klara spends her time with the jigsaw puzzle which is the matching of our Care Professionals to our clients and ensuring all the schedules run smoothly.

After 30 years in retail, Rachel found her passion when she joined Home Instead, initially as a Care Professional.
Later she joined the office team bringing her experience to help build relationships with our clients in Torpoint and Saltash.

Relatively new to care but with a wealth of life skills, she loves the new opportunities. She is now a co-facilitator for our Talking Therapy groups as well as a Senior.

Megan joined us in late 2022 as an apprentice and with a deep commitment to develop her career in the care sector.
